I'm responsible for managing all aspects of the Healthy Utah program. Our staff consists of two teams. An office team who are involved in: managing Health Challenges; conducting personal health sessions, seminars and the Lighten Up and Success for Life programs; working with Wellness Councils; administering rebates and Listservs; and providing content and technical support for our Healthy Utah and myhealthyutah websites. The testing team is responsible for administering the tests at our sessions held at agencies through out the state. Our teams work hard to provide our members with the highest quality of programs and services.

Although my formal training is in exercise science, I have a variety of responsibilities. I manage our myHealthyUtah web application, our program's web site, and the Health Assessment. I also design reports, conference posters, all print materials and perform various graphic design responsibilities. Additionally, I'm certified in cholesterol and blood pressure measurement.

My responsibilities are to develop marketing plans for Healthy Utah; write monthly articles for the Work Elevated newsletter and various other departmental newsletters; present at New Employee Orientations, at Benefit Fairs and Open Enrollment meetings, and wellness seminars on various topics as requested; and serve as a resource for tobacco cessation. I am certified in cholesterol measurement, blood pressure, and all other HU testing procedures. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Health Education from Brigham Young University and I am also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).

I graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Modern Dance, where I was also a former Ute Cheer leader. I am still an avid Utes Sports fan. GO UTES! I currently teach part time for the University of Utah Children's Dance Theater. I also am involved with the Utah Jazz Stunt team (cheerleading) and perform at many of their home basketball games. I love spending time outdoors, doing just about anything. My job is to provide assistance to the Healthy Utah Staff and participants of Healthy Utah program. I process rebates and schedule testing session appointments. I also handle day to day office projects.

I present Wellness Seminars, particularly in the area of stress management and communication. I assist agencies in establishing Wellness Councils and support their on-going efforts. I'm also the moderator for Healthy Utah's WorkWell listserv. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Health Education from Brigham Young University. I'm also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).

My primary role in the Healthy Utah program is to provide members with the tools, education and support they need to improve their eating habits. I received my B.S. in dietetics from the University of Dayton and serve as the program's registered dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. My job responsibilities include: coordinating and teaching weight management classes, presenting wellness seminars and providing nutrition and meal planning counseling.

My responsibilities for Healthy Utah include promoting physical activity at all levels, presenting physical activity-related Wellness Seminars, providing physical activity program planning, helping to conduct the Lighten Up & Success for Life weight loss program and moderating Healthy Utah's Move IT! Listserve. My Bachelor's degree is in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah. I am an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Health Fitness Specialist as well as a nationally certified Massage Therapist.

I am Healthy Utah's testing staff supervisor, and have been with Healthy Utah since 1993. I completed my undergraduate work in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Utah. I enjoy meeting with Healthy Utah participants throughout the state and strive to help them set goals to improve their health and well-being. In my spare time I keep active chasing after my three children. They always provide me a great work-out!
