HBO (Healthy Brigham City Office)

The Brigham City office is pleased to announce their new healthy awareness program. A wellness council was formed to develop the provision of the new group and open enrollment was held for employees to join. The group proudly named themselves HBO (Healthy Brigham City Office). HBO held their grand opening on August 2nd to kick off the new health awareness program. Facilitating our ribbon cutting and grand opening event was our own, Craig Stewart and Nathan Dopp. The Box Elder Queen attended the celebration and joined us for photos. We celebrated with orange juice in champagne glasses to show our dedication to becoming healthy. Pedometers were given to every member of HBO and instructions were provided on the new walking program, which began the day of the grand opening.

Everyone was excited and our walking program has already been a huge success! Every member of our office is involved and committed to improving their health. Our group has joined the Utah Walks program through the internet. We post and track our progress on line as well as compare to other groups within our office or in different areas. 

The HBO committee developed a bulletin board, which posts walking tips and other healthy idea items. We are starting many other exciting activities and will be implementing those in the near future.
